Since I have a black rubberized plastic case on my Macbook, I opted for the silver decal. I was thrilled that it arrived within two days of my order and came with both step-by-step instructions and two nice "practice" decals as gifts. (I didn't use them for practice; the instructions were simple enough that I felt comfortable applying the tree/bird decals without practice.) I also had a nice note attached via label on the flap of the mailing envelope as well as a handwritten thank you on the invoice (which is printed on the flip side of an instruction sheet).
This was my first time applying decals to a laptop, but the instructions are pretty simple, so I don't think other newbies should shy away. What I found tedious was that the decal stuck quite a bit to the protective paper backing--and, because this is a decal with delicate pieces (skinny, bending branches and tiny leaves), it was slow-going to get that paper off without ripping the decal. I lost a few leaves along the way--but was also able to stick some back on individually. What helped me to peel the paper cleanly off the decal was using a combination of strategies: rubbing a credit card for a squeegee effect, using a fingernail to initiate the decals pull away from the paper, and a back/forth, pulling/pushing motion of the paper to get the decal to release.

The product is great, is is unique and adorable and looks so cool on my laptop! It came on transfer tape (which literally all decals should come on, it makes it so easy and it looks great because of it! The sellers were awesome, they shipped next day and the estimated delivery was for the 17th or later, I got it on the 15th so that was great. It came with two extra decals for free and a handwritten thank you! They were fantastic, definitely order from them, I will continue to do so in the future!
